On a Friday evening, a blaze ignited in a Hameln hotel. Per the police's accounts, it was caused by a technical malfunction in an electrical outlet. The incident led to three hotel occupants getting afflicted by carbon monoxide poisoning.
Within the hotel, there were 31 overnight visitors. The firefighters successfully evacuated everyone. A police representative reported that the harm was mostly mild due to the efficient fire-fighting efforts. The primary damage, however, was caused by soot residue.
