Hose ruptured: Three injured by sulphuric acid
Three people have been injured by sulphuric acid due to a ruptured hose in a mineral washing plant in Hirschau (Amberg-Sulzbach district). According to initial findings, a technical defect was the cause of the accident on Tuesday, as the police announced on Wednesday. Rescue workers took the injured to hospital with skin burns to the head and neck. The employees were wearing protective clothing, which, according to the police, prevented worse.
