Accident - Horse falls down a slope and is rescued by the fire department
A horse fell down a slope near Albstadt (Zollernalbkreis) and was rescued. The animal was out with its owner on Sunday when, for reasons that were initially unclear, it veered off the path and became trapped in a tree on the slope, as the police reported. During the preparations for the rescue, the tree broke and the horse slid further down the slope. The fire department eventually led it safely onto a forest path. After the rescue operation, the apparently unharmed animal was handed back to its 33-year-old owner.
The incident occurred in the Zollernalb district, specifically near Albstadt. The fire department was called to assist in the rescue of an animal that had accidentally slipped down a slope. Despite initial preparations, the tree the animal was trapped in broke, causing it to slide further. Thankfully, the fire department managed to guide the animal back onto a forest path, avoiding any further accidents.
