Homicide of Spouse with Armpit and Knife: Saxon Man Receives Life Imprisonment

The situation involved the defendant's reluctance to acknowledge the breakup of the couple, causing the man to impede his 37-year-old wife's pursuit of an individual life, as reported by a court representative. According to the court, the couple was involved in the alternative lifestyle scene of BDSM or sadomasochism.

The woman was expected to be subservient to the man and serve as his servant. Due to her desire for independence and separation, the man is suspected of plotting her murder, as suggested by the charges. He allegedly confronted her in their former shared apartment, where she continued to care for cats.

Before the trial concluded, the defendant submitted a declaration acknowledging his wife's killing but describing it as involuntary manslaughter. He claimed to have carried the crossbow on the day of the incident for the purpose of photographing it for an online sale.

It was then alleged that an argument ensued, leading to a physical altercation. The crossbow discharged, striking the woman. In response, she is said to have advanced towards him with two knives, prompting him to seize a knife and stab her.

The jury only partly accepted this narrative, largely based on the presented evidence. They concluded that the crime was premeditated and executed with malice and base motives. Moreover, forensic medical examinations revealed that neither the victim nor the defendant had any indications of self-defense or combat wounds.

The bereaved left behind a 13-year-old daughter residing at a children's home. The court mandated the defendant, who served as a co-plaintiff, to pay the daughter a sum of 25,000 euros as bereavement allowance. Portions of the main hearing and pleadings were held in private. The verdict remains pending.

In the aftermath of the incident, the defendant was found hiding in Zwickau, a city in Germany. Despite his claims of innocence, many locals expressed their shock and condemnation of the events that unfolded in their community.
