Homicide and Dismemberment Result in 12.5-Year Prison Sentence in Bremen

Allegedly, these three individuals are said to have kept a man prisoner and ended his life out of greed about four years back. Following that, they buried his dismembered remains on a field in Lower Saxony. Initially, this case was treated as a missing person's situation. It wasn't until one and half years after his demise that investigators found the initial fragments of his body.

The legal proceedings surrounding this crime have been intricate. As per media reports, the initial murder charge was based on a declaration from one of the accused to the investigators, which the court refused to accept as legitimate evidence due to its questionable nature. It appears that the investigators kept this individual in the dark about his status as a suspect during the interrogation.
