Fifteen days after the arrest of a murder suspect in Schweinfurt, the man has yet to comment on the charges. "Investigations into the background of the crime and the exact time of death are ongoing," the Schweinfurt Public Prosecutor's Office said. "Based on the current status, external violence was the cause of the victim's death."

So far, it is known that the alleged perpetrator, a 40-year-old homeless man, knew the victim. Workers discovered the body of the 45-year-old in a building in the city center on July 23. More than a week later, the German suspect was arrested and taken into custody on suspicion of murder.

The ongoing investigations aim to uncover any potential links between the suspect and other criminal activities. Despite the silence from the suspect, the crime has cast a shadow of fear and uncertainty within the community.
