In a residential fire at a multi-family building in Hofheim in the Taunus, one person has died. The fire department forced entry into the affected apartment overnight and extinguished the fire, as reported by the police. Inside the apartment, emergency services found an unresponsive person who was rescued and successfully revived at the scene. However, the person later died at the hospital due to severe injuries. No details about the age or gender have been released yet.

The building was ventilated by the police and eventually reopened for the remaining residents. No other injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is still unknown, with initial estimates of property damage at around 80,000 euros.

The fire department's swift response in firefighting at the residential building prevented further spread of the flames. The incident, classified as a firefighting operation, was handled professionally by local emergency services.
