German Football League - Hoffenheim's player Linder transfers to Wolfsburg.

Sarai Linder, a renowned German women's football player, will transfer from TSG 1899 Hoffenheim to VfL Wolfsburg. Both clubs confirmed the news on a Tuesday update. Linder, a 24-year-old defender, will sign a contract with Wolfsburg that will extend until June 2027.

"I'm thrilled to have the privilege of wearing the green-white jersey. At first, it felt unreal to play for such a prestigious club. The club's interest in me was a pleasant surprise," said Linder, who's already played 14 international matches for the females' national team.

Wolfsburg's women's football director, Ralf Kellermann, is excited about the new addition to their squad. "She's not only one of the finest German defenders in this moment, but also a versatile player that can fit in either outside position," Kellermann stated. Linder is officially saying goodbye to the Kraichgau-based club after 13 years.

Rumor has it that that TSG made efforts in the spring to renew the contract that was set to expire in 2025, but they failed. This also compelled Sarai to express her wishes for leaving the club this very summer. As a result, Hoffenheim's sports director, Stephan Lerch, happily reveals they were able to secure a significant transfer fee with Linder's move. Unfortunately, no specific figures were shared.
