- Hoffenheim's Jurassic is falling longer with a broken arm.

It is feared that David Jurasek of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim will be out for an extended period. As confirmed by the Bundesliga football club on Wednesday, the Czech Euro participant broke his arm in a test match against Norwich City. The 23-year-old has already undergone surgery.

Jurasek sustained the injury after an awkward fall following a tackle, fracturing his left forearm. The duration of Jurasek's absence and whether Hoffenheim will reinforce the position is currently unknown.

Umut Tohumcu fared better in the same match, suffering only a thigh strain and will need to take a few days off.

Hoffenheim is currently still in training camp in the Austrian Alps until the weekend. On their return journey to Sinsheim, the TSG will play a friendly against Ipswich Town in Kufstein on Saturday (13:30).

Despite the setback, Hoffenheim continues their preparations for the German Bundesliga season in the Austrian Alps. The absence of David Jurasek might necessitate reinforcements for the position in the near future.
