TSG 1899 Hoffenheim has released its academy manager Jens Rasiejewski. "Developments in recent months have made it clear that further cooperation is no longer possible," the Bundesliga club announced on Tuesday. The views on the joint approach in the academy were too different, it said. Rasiejewski's contract was due to expire on June 30, 2024. The club is optimistic that it will soon be able to present a successor.48-year-old Rasiejewski returned to TSG Hoffenheim as academy manager in the summer of 2021, where he had already worked as coach of the U17s from July 1, 2011 to June 30, 2016 before moving to VfL Bochum. There, he initially took over the management of the youth training center, before serving as assistant coach and head coach of VfL's licensed team.
