Football Bundesliga side TSG 1899 Hoffenheim has signed Australian defender Jamilla Rankin. The 21-year-old is moving from Melbourne Victory to the Kraichgau region and has agreed a contract until the summer of 2027, as announced by the TSG.

"Following Sarai Linder's short-term move to VfL Wolfsburg, it was clear that we needed to react on the left-back positions. We took the necessary time to find not a quick, but an optimal solution," explained Stephan Lerch, Hoffenheim's Sporting Director.

The announcement of Jamilla Rankin's signing by TSG 1899 Hoffenheim comes following the temporary departure of Sarai Linder to VfL Wolfsburg. With Linder's vacancy on the left-back positions, Hoffenheim took its time to find a long-term, optimal solution.
