"This significant move is a reassurance to all TU members looking for assistance, encouragement, ideas, or guidance as victims of antisemitism or witnesses to such incidents on campus." TU's President, Geraldine Rauch, said in a statement. "We strive to create a secure environment, particularly in light of the growing anti-Semitism in our nation. It is crucial for us to take action against it. I'm thrilled that Uffa Jensen agreed to take on this complex job, as she brings an extensive knowledge of anti-Semitism research and is a top-notch university teacher."
