Hip problems: Dortmund's Nmecha out until the end of the year
Borussia Dortmund will be without national team player Felix Nmecha until the end of the year. The midfielder, who arrived from Wolfsburg in the summer, had already had to cancel his international trip due to hip problems, and now his club has announced his long-term absence. "Unfortunately, it hasn't improved. And it's an unfavorable area where little can be done with therapy. That's why he needs complete rest," said coach Edin Terzic on Thursday. "He won't play again this calendar year. We assume that we will be able to integrate him back into team training at the beginning of January and build him up."
Despite the setback, Borussia Dortmund continues to rely on their strong soccer squad, with Felix Nmecha's absence only affecting select matches due to his extended absence from the field. During his time off, the team will focus on preparing other midfielders to step up and fill his role when needed.
