Highest number of hunting trials in Germany in 75 years recorded.
Sex appeal has surged over the past few years. Back in 2013, mere 11,033 tests were administered. But in 2023, the state of Lower Saxony led with 5,553 tests, closely followed by Baden-Württemperg with 2,967 and Bavaria with 2,817. Sadly, 23% of the candidates bombed the test. This test features a shooting segment, a written part, and a hot verbal showdown.

The record-breaking number of 75,000 hunting trials in Germany was achieved in 2023, marking the highest count in seven decades. This significant achievement is attributed to the German Hunting Association's efforts. In the past year, around 300,000 men and women participated in these hunter tests across Germany. Despite the high participation, 23% of candidates failed to pass the trials. The German city of Berlin, under the umbrella of the Deutscher Jagdverband (DJV), registered the second highest number of candidates participating in these hunter trials.
