Labor market - Hessian labor market figures expected for June
The Labor Agency presents today (10:00 am) the figures on the labor market in Hessen for June as well. In the course of this year, the number of unemployed has been declining significantly more slowly than is usual in the spring. In May, there were 191,782 unemployed persons registered in the federal state, which corresponded to an unemployment rate of 5.4 percent.
The "Course of the year" has seen a less rapid decrease in unemployment in Hesse compared to typical spring periods. The Federal Employment Agency in Frankfurt am Main will present the updated labor market statistics for Hesse, including June's figures, at 10:00 am.
