Media report - Hertha's former youth coach Reiß moves to Manchester City

Hertha's long-serving U19 coach Oliver Reiss is reportedly set for an engagement in England. According to Sky's information, the 41-year-old is set to join English football champion Manchester City. At the Premier League club, Reiss is expected to take over as head coach of the U18 team. Reiss left Berlin's second division team Hertha on his own accord after the last season.

Most recently, Reiss had been coaching Hertha's U19 team, which came close to winning the German championship in May. In total, the youth coach had worked for Hertha BSC for 17 years.

Report: Sky

After spending 17 years at Hertha BSC in Berlin's second division, Reiss decided to leave on his own terms. According to Sky's reports, he is set to join English soccer powerhouse Manchester City. In his new role at Manchester City, Reiss will be taking charge of the U18 team. Despite his success with Hertha's U19 team, which nearly won the Bundesliga 2 championship last season, Reiss is now preparing for a new challenge in England.
