Hertha test against Mattuschka club during international break
Hertha BSC will play a test match against the regional league team VSG Altglienicke, currently coached by Torsten Mattuschka, during the international break. The match will kick off on November 16 at 1 p.m. at the Hanns-Braun-Stadion on the Olympic grounds, as the second-division soccer team announced on Friday at X. Admission will be free. Admission will be free for fans. Hertha will also be showing it on the internet in a live stream.
Altglienicke parted ways with coach Karsten Heine this week and initially appointed former professional and former assistant coach Mattuschka to manage the first team. The 43-year-old played for Hertha's city rivals Union Berlin for a long time and is still very popular there today.
Despite Hertha BSC focusing on a test match against VSG Altglienicke during the international break, the Second Bundesliga 2 team, Hertha's potential opponents in a higher league, are experiencing changes. Hertha Berlin alumnus Torsten Mattuschka has taken charge of Altglienicke following their separation with Karsten Heine, setting the stage for potential fascinating test matches in the future of Soccer.
