Berlin's football team, Hertha BSC, has been given the green light to participate in the 2024/25 Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga seasons. This announcement was made by the German Football League (DFL) earlier today. To receive this license, Hertha had to show they were financially stable for the new season.

However, next fall, clubs must once again provide proof of their financial well-being in line with the league's regulations for the current season.

Herrich expressed his satisfaction with the positive step, stating, "We're making very good progress. Now we just need to keep going," in the club's official statement. "For the first time in many years, our income is covering our costs. We've turned things around. But the situation is still very tough."
