Heidenheim announces minus: number of members tripled
Bundesliga soccer club 1. FC Heidenheim ended the past season with a slight financial deficit of around one million euros, but is very satisfied with its overall performance. Turnover in 2022 amounted to around 39 million euros, as the promoted club announced at its general meeting on Tuesday. The number of members has now risen from around 3,000 to 9,000, and just as many season tickets have been sold for the first Bundesliga season in the club's history.
After twelve match days, Heidenheim are in 13th place in the table with eleven points and thus above the relegation places. Next Saturday (3.30 pm/Sky), coach Frank Schmidt's team will visit RB Leipzig.
- Due to their successful promotion to the Bundesliga, 1st FC Heidenheim has seen an increase in soccer support, with their membership base tripling to 9,000.
