Engineer specializing in mechanics - Heidelberger Druck approaches the upcoming fiscal year with a degree of caution.

This business projects to have 7.2% of revenue left as Ebitda (profit before interest, taxes, and depreciation) after subtracting exceptional events, taxes, and interest - the same as prior to now. The firm traded on the SDax (S-DAX) shared important statistics for the former financial year in mid-May.

The manufacturer of printing devices also unveiled that several orders from the fair Drupa played a role in the rebound of incoming orders in the latest fiscal year. For the first quarter, they anticipate income of 650 million euros. Due to better usage of production capacity, the business intends to halt short-time work at its German outposts in June 2024.

In the closed fiscal term (ending in March), the Ebitda dropped by two percentage points. The gain of 91 million euros in the previous year plummeted to 39 million euros. The increased pension interest liability was one of the reasons.

Interestingly, in mid-April, it was made known that the previous CEO, Ludwin Monz, would step down from his role. The current CEO of S.Oliver, Jürgen Otto, will take his place.
