The German Weather Service (DWD) has advised residents of Leipzig to stay indoors as much as possible due to the approaching thunderstorm, given its potential for severe weather conditions. On Sunday, the city of Leipzig in Saxony could face heavy rain, strong winds, hail, and even possible thunderstorms, following the level 2 alert issued by DWD. The storms that hit Saxony the previous day, including Leipzig, causing sudden flooding on some roads, serve as a reminder of the destructive capabilities of these storms.
