In contrast, the average amount of rainfall experienced by Brandenburg, during the entire month of May 2020, was around 35 liters per square meter. Three districts, Uckermark, Märkisch-Oderland, and Oberhavel, are forecasted to witness a significant rainfall.

Despite the severe weather warning issued for Brandenburg, Potsdam might luckily escape the worst of the forecasted downpours. Nevertheless, parts of Brandenburg, such as Uckermark, Märkisch-Oderland, and Oberhavel, are expected to endure severe weather conditions, as predicted by the DWD. This impending weather event could potentially surpass the average monthly rainfall of Brandenburg in May 2020.
