Weather Advisories: German Weather Service Warns of Stormy Weekend
Recently, the German Weather Service (DWD) has issued warnings about the upcoming weather. They predict heavy, continuous rainfall throughout the weekend particularly in the eastern part of Baden-Württemberg and large portions of Bavaria, from the border of Baden-Württemberg to around Regensburg, and from the Alps to Bamberg.
This rainfall may amount to as much as 100 liters per square meter, creating a significant risk of danger to people's lives and well-being. The DWD has also noted that there could be instances of flooding in areas near waterways, with potential threats to lives and infrastructure. There is also the possibility of landslides due to the intense rain.
