Emergencies - Heavily pregnant woman escorted to hospital with flashing blue lights

Police officers in Neuhausen an den Fildern (Esslingen district) have escorted a woman in labor to a clinic with flashing blue lights. The officers were approached by the husband of the heavily pregnant woman on Wednesday and asked for help, as the police announced on Thursday. The woman, who was sitting in the passenger seat of the man's car, was having contractions at short, regular intervals. After consultation with the clinic, the future parents were escorted with blue lights. They had already been met by waiting staff at the emergency room. According to the police, the baby was not in such a hurry after all - the baby had still not been born on Thursday morning.
