- Heat is coming to Saxony-Anhalt
Residents of Saxony-Anhalt should brace for heat. Over the weekend, maximum temperatures will remain just below the 30°C mark, as reported by the German Weather Service. On Sunday, denser clouds will move in, but they won't bring any cooling rain - it will remain dry. Overnight into Monday, temperatures will drop to 14 to 10°C. On Monday, temperatures are expected to reach 30°C in many places, with highs ranging from 26 to 30°C, and 20 to 25°C in the Harz region. Initial forecasts for Tuesday suggest even more heat.
Despite the approaching clouds on Sunday, they won't provide any relief from the heat as rain remains unlikely. Consequently, the Weather Service predicts temperatures to rise further on Monday, potentially reaching 30°C in several areas.
