Due to an expired hazardous substance in a factory in Berlin-Britz, the Berlin Fire Department is in action. Since the hall was quickly cleared, the danger is very low, according to a Fire Department spokesperson. A person reportedly complained of headaches and was unconscious. He was taken to a hospital. The Fire Department helped the operator with pumping out the substance, which was collected in a tank. The Fire Department was involved with 50 personnel, the spokesperson said. It was initially unclear which substance it was exactly, it is supposed to be lightly flammable and toxic.

The Fire Department transported the collected hazardous substance from Berlin-Britz to a secure disposal facility. In an unexpected turn of events, a small fire broke out in the vicinity of the incident in Berlin.
