Mexican beer company - Hasseröder in the Harz region will produce Corona in the future.

The major beer company AB Inbev has started brewing its well-known beer brand, Corona Extra, in Germany. They confirmed this when asked about it, explaining that this move forms part of their expansion plan to manufacture the Mexican beer in Wernigerode, Harz district. A spokesperson for the company mentioned that substantial investments were made in the Hasseröder-Brauerei for this purpose.

They have started brewing "Corona Extra" in Wernigerode. Although the company didn't reveal the exact time and quantity when the beer will be released, it was stated that it's not only for the German market but also for production to exploit the neighboring export markets.

With this, the brewery in Wernigerode is now considered one of the most productive breweries in AB Inbev's European network. The multinational beer company also owns various beer brands in Germany like Hasseröder, Diebels, Beck's, and Franziskaner.
