Happily surprised by the success of the "Die drei ???" podcast

Radio drama star Andreas Fröhlich (58) is amazed at the success of his podcast about the series "Die drei ???". "I was surprised that our - admittedly - somewhat nerdy podcast was so well received and has so many fans online," said Fröhlich about his project "Haschimitenfürst - Der Bobcast" in collaboration with radio play producer Kai Schwind. With around five million downloads and streams and almost 300,000 views per month, the "Bobcast" is one of the German podcasts with the widest reach.

"But the response to our live Bobcast has topped this once again," continued Bob Andrews spokesperson Fröhlich. "We enjoyed the stage experience with the immediate reaction of the audience so much that we decided to go on a slightly bigger tour with new content next year." He is really looking forward to the start of the tour next April and "meeting old and new Fragezeichen fans", says the Berliner.

Last June, the two podcasters performed live three times in front of audiences in NRW - in Soest, Gelsenkirchen and Münster. Next year, there will be ten more events between mid-April and the beginning of June. Advance tickets go on sale this Monday (13.11.). Under the motto "Voices from childhood", Fröhlich and Schwind will present background information, anecdotes and insider knowledge.

Among other things, they will talk about the actors, script errors and slip of the tongue in every single episode of "Die drei ???". "The original manuscripts by radio play producer Heikedine Körting in particular are an invaluable treasure trove for me, bringing back many memories and points of reference," says Fröhlich. The "Die drei ???" series has been published by the Hamburg label Europa since 1979 - always with Fröhlich, Oliver Rohrbeck and Jens Wawrczeck in the three main roles.

The success of the podcast has also drawn attention to other media platforms. People are eagerly anticipating the colorful literature adaptation of "Haschimitenfürst - Der Bobcast." Additionally, a radio play based on the podcast is in the works, further expanding its reach in the realm of literature and audio entertainment.
