Amir Shapourzadeh plans to carefully choose the next coach for relegated Hansa Rostock in the second division. "We want to avoid a rash decision," the 41-year-old explained. Shapourzadeh recently became the new professional football director for the Mecklenburgers.
Shapourzadeh has specific expectations for the prospective new coach who will replace Mersad Selimbegovic, who was let go after Hansa Rostock's relegation: "The ideal candidate should have knowledge of the second and third leagues, have ample experience, possess plenty of energy, and be able to create a fresh start."
