Bundesliga 2 - Hansa Rostock part ways with coach Alois Schwartz

Second division soccer club Hansa Rostock is parting ways with coach Alois Schwartz, according to a report in "Bild". According to the report, the 56-year-old will no longer be in charge of training on Wednesday. On Friday (18:30/Sky), the Hanseatic team will face SC Paderborn. Junior sporting director Uwe Speidel will be on the sidelines there.

Schwartz only joined Hansa at the end of March 2023. After securing relegation in the previous season, success has been lacking in the current season. The Mecklenburg club has only picked up one point in its last three games. Rostock recently lost 2-0 to FC Schalke 04 and slipped to the relegation zone.
