Hans Kästner moves from the LKA to the West Palatinate Police Headquarters
Hans Kästner, previously head of the Politically Motivated Crime Department at the State Criminal Police Office (LKA), is the new head of the West Palatinate Police Headquarters. Minister of the Interior Michael Ebling has appointed the Chief Criminal Director to the position in Kaiserslautern with effect from November 13, 2023, the Ministry of the Interior in Mainz announced on Thursday. Kästner succeeds Michael Denne, who is retiring. Kästner joined the police force in 1981 and had already worked as head of the Speyer and Pirmasens criminal investigation departments. "As a native of the South West Palatinate, it is a special honor for me to take over the management of my home station," he said.
During his tenure at the West Palatinate Police Headquarters, Hans Kästner may need to provide his Personal details to the administrative department for records. The announcement of Kästner's appointment by Minister Ebling also mentions the date when he assumes the position as head of the police headquarters, which is November 13, 2023.
