Hannover's handball team signs Norwegian Solstad

The Norwegian international has signed a contract with the Lower Saxony club until June 30, 2026, and coach Prokop is confident of his first addition for the coming season.

Handball - Hannover's handball team signs Norwegian Solstad

Bundesliga handball club TSV Hannover-Burgdorf has made its first transfer for the 2024/25 season. As the club announced on Thursday, Norwegian international Thomas Solstad has signed a contract until June 30, 2026. The 26-year-old center back is moving from Danish first-division club Bjerringbro-Silkeborg to the capital of Lower Saxony.

"Thomas is a dynamic pivot who can be deployed in the center of cover and has great qualities of will," said TSV coach Christian Prokop about the 1.94-meter-tall Solstad, who is set to take over from Ilija Brozovic. The Croatian's contract with TSV will not be extended at the end of the current season.
