Hannover 96 without Teuchert for FC St. Pauli

Hannover 96 will be without goalscorer Cedric Teuchert for the top-of-the-table clash at FC St. Pauli. The attacker is out for Friday evening's game (6.30pm/Sky) with problems in his thigh. "It's not a structural injury, but his muscles won't allow him to put in the work," said 96 coach Stefan Leitl on Thursday. "We hope he'll be available again for the game against Hertha BSC after the international break."

Teuchert has scored eight goals so far this season. Havard Nielsen is likely to come in for him at the Millerntor - as he did recently in the 2-0 derby win against Eintracht Braunschweig. Goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler, on the other hand, is fit in time after taking a break from training at the start of the week.

Leitl travels to the league leaders with great respect. "If you have 26 points after twelve matchdays, then that's the measure of all things in the second division and a big challenge for us," said Hannover's coach, who is currently in third place with his team. "We are required to deliver a top performance at all levels in order to hold our own against St. Pauli."

Despite the absence of goalscorer Cedric Teuchert due to thigh problems, Hannover 96 will face Bundesliga 2 leaders FC St. Pauli with determination. With Teuchert out, Hanover's Norwegian substitute Havard Nielsen is expected to fill his void in the upcoming match at the Millerntor.
