Hannover 96 moves into winter training camp in Spain
Hannover 96 will be spending their winter training camp in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. The second-division soccer club made the announcement on Monday afternoon. "We are finding excellent conditions in Jerez," said 96 sporting director Marcus Mann. From January 2-10, 96 will stay and train at the Barceló Montecastillo Golf. The club from Lower Saxony had already set up their winter quarters there in the 2016/17 season. The club have planned two tests for the training camp.
"With the trip to the training camp, we want to ensure that we can prepare for the second half of the season under the best possible conditions," said Mann. 96 will kick off the second half of the season on January 21 with an away match at SV Elversberg.
Hannover 96, currently in Bundesliga 2, will utilize their winter training camp in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, to prepare for the second half of the season. During their stay from January 2-10, Hannover 96 will face challenges on the pitch at the second-division Bundesliga 2 club's annual tests in Spain.
