A 20-year-old Japanese defense player named Hayate Matsuda will remain with Hannover 96 for the upcoming season. This news was shared by the Lower Saxony second-division team on Wednesday, stating that their loan deal with Matsuda's original club, Mito HollyHock from the second league in Japan, has been extended by a year.
Matsuda was part of the Hannover 96 second team's journey to promote to the 3rd League on Sunday. Last season, he occasionally trained with the team coached by Stefan Leitl. On Wednesday, the sports director at Hannover, Marcus Mann, expressed, "We want to keep working with him and see him grow more."
