Foxes Berlin - Hanning wants national player Drux as successor
Füchse managing director Bob Hanning would like national player Paul Drux to be his successor. "I can't think of anyone better than Paul. The man has everything. There is no one like him for this club," the 55-year-old told the internet portal handball-world. Hanning had recently announced that he would retire in five years.
Hanning and Drux share many years together at Füchse Berlin. In 2011, the former DHB vice-president brought Drux (28), who was born in Gummersbach, into the Berlin youth department. Since then, the backcourt player has become a permanent fixture at the second-placed team in the German Handball League. "We are a club that lives from its DNA like no other," said Hanning.
