Jonas Wohlfarth-Bottermann, a star player in the German basketball league, will no longer be a part of the Veolia Towers Hamburg team. The club made this announcement on Monday. Wohlfarth-Bottermann (34) and his captain partner Seth Hinrichs (31) will follow separate paths during the upcoming season. As teammates, they've played 253 matches for the Towers. Wohlfarth-Bottermann, despite his impressive career, didn't make the cut for the German Olympic squad. He has contributed to the team since 2022. Hinrichs, on the other hand, joined the Hanseaten a year before Wohlfarth-Bottermann did.

Despite being a key player in the Hamburg Towers Basketball team, Jonas Wohlfarth-Bottermann will not be returning for the upcoming Bundesliga season. Having made an impressive career in the Hanseatic city of Hamburg, Wohlfarth-Bottermann's skills were not enough to secure a spot on the German Olympic basketball team. Despite this setback, Veolia, the team's sponsor, continues to support the Hamburg Towers in their competitive sports endeavors in the Bundesliga.
