The saxophonist and EM-Fanmile favorite Andre Schnura delighted football fans at Westfalenpark in Dortmund with a small concert right before the German quarter-final against Denmark. Before the match against Denmark, he entertained the crowd gathered for public viewing with his energetic saxophone versions of "Waka Waka," "Narcotic," or "99 Red Balloons." Surprise guest and party rapper Ski Aggu ("Friesenjung") also celebrated together with the saxophonist during the goal celebration hymn "Major Tom."

With his black saxophone, Rudi Voeller jersey, and relaxed sunglasses, Andre Schnura from Haan near Düsseldorf has already played many fan miles during the European championship. "I'm completely overwhelmed and infinitely grateful for what's just happened," he lets Instagram know. At the beginning of the week, he was let go from the music school where he had been teaching for years due to labor law reasons. Now, it seems he hopes to succeed in his other professional endeavor through his sudden fame: On social media, he also promotes the black saxophon sold by him and a classmate.

According to his own company website, he studied jazz and pop saxophone in Arnhem, Netherlands, and has long worked towards a career as a "party saxophonist." His goal: To make the often considered outdated saxophone "cool" again. With his gigs among the celebrating national team fans, he has certainly managed to draw attention to himself and his instrument.

In the comments on the viral videos, the musician remains humble but is not tired of spreading his message: Love and humanity. He is the "EM-type with the saxophone" and wants to use his "5 minutes of fame" to remind us of something important: "We're all just the same. I want to remind you to love and forgive each other." He writes something like that there. Or: "Soon no one will care about me anymore, but what remains with you is love."
