Basketball - Guard Jarred Godfrey joins BG Göttingen

The BG Göttingen has made another new hiring. The Basketball Bundesligist announced that Jarred Godfrey reinforced the team of trainer Olivier Foucart. The 23-year-old American played last for the Swedish vice-champion Boras Basket. In Göttingen, he signed for the 2024/25 season.

"Jarred had a very successful rookie season in Sweden, in which he showed that he is a versatile scorer with many skills. His ability to score, pass the ball, and rebound make him very interesting and helpful for our team," Foucart said about the 1.96 meter Guard. In the Swedish league, Godfrey averaged 18.6 points per game.

The new commitment to BG Göttingen's basketball team is Jarred Godfrey, hailing from the United States. Godfrey previously played for Lower Saxony in Sweden, serving as a crucial player for the Swedish vice-champion Boras Basket. The Bundesliga team signed Godfrey for a commitment that extends until the 2024/25 season. Despite his success in Sweden, basketball enthusiasts might remember him from an exciting 'Basket hunt' game.
