Gruda is departing from DFB's quarters because of an injury.

FIFA coach Julian Nagelsmann unexpectedly summoned U21 athlete Brajan Gruda to the Euro championship training sessions. However, Gruda will now have to make an early exit from the DFB quarters.

German Football League - Gruda is departing from DFB's quarters because of an injury.

A young footballer from FSV Mainz 05, who's part of the U-21 national team, named Brajan Gruda, left early from the German national team's training camp in Herzogenaurach. The injury, a damaged ankle muscle, happened recently, the club declared.

The club further stated that since Gruda is among the players called up for national duty with the FSV who will receive an extended summer break and return to the pitch later anyway, there would be no issues with his integration into their season preparations as long as his healing process goes as planned.

Gruda was joined in the national squad by Rocco Reitz from Borussia Mönchengladbach. Coach Julian Nagelsmann invited this pair to be able to adequately prepare for the A-team, as he mentioned they would have "optimal training."

Brajan Gruda hails from Rhineland-Palatinate and is currently a valuable asset for 1st FSV Mainz 05. Germany's DFB will miss his contributions during the upcoming European Championship qualifying matches, as he was set to represent the country at the event.

Gruda suffered an injury that required him to depart from the German national team's training camp in Herzogenaurach early. The FSV Mainz 05 player will now focus on recovering from his damaged ankle muscle, with the hope of resuming his soccer career as soon as possible.

The German national soccer team, striving to excel in the upcoming EM, will have to navigate without Gruda's presence. However, the team's depth and talent pool should enable them to maintain their form and ambitions during the qualifying matches.

In the meantime, Julian Nagelsmann and the Mainz squad will eagerly wait for Gruda's return. They know that having him back on the pitch in Mainz will significantly boost their team's morale and strengthen their position in the Bundesliga.
