Apparently out of nowhere, one group of people attacks another. For one of them, the night ends in hospital.

Crime - Group attacks men - stabbed in the stomach

A five-member group allegedly attacked a 29-year-old man unexpectedly in Stuttgart city center and stabbed a helper in the stomach with a knife. The 28-year-old was admitted to a hospital on Sunday night but, according to police reports, was not in critical condition.

According to the police, the 29-year-old was hit in the face by one of the group members, causing him to fall to the ground. When his 28-year-old companion intervened, he too was reportedly assaulted. "Additionally, a stab wound was inflicted in the abdominal area," states the police report. The motive for the attack remains unclear.

The suspects reportedly fled in the direction of the Stadtgarten. The initial search was unsuccessful.

The attackers in Stuttgart city center were all men, as indicated by the police reports. Regarding the stabbing incident, the 28-year-old helper was victim to a knife thrust in Baden-Württemberg's capital.
