- Greuther Fürth extends contract with defender Mhamdi

The 1. FC Greuther Fürth has extended the contract with right-back Oualid Mhamdi. The club announced this without revealing the duration of the contract. Mhamdi joined from the U19 team of Viktoria Köln in the summer of 2022. Since then, the 21-year-old Moroccan has played 18 games in the second division for the club.

"Oualid has shown good development since he joined us. We see further potential in him and want to continue developing it together," said CEO Rachid Azzouzi.

Oualid's impressive performances in the second division have caught the attention of Soccer fans. The extended contract is a testament to the club's faith in his Soccer abilities and future growth.
