Coalition agreement - Greens: Coalition partners are not doing justice to bureaucracy reduction
According to criticism from the ranks of the Greens, the future black-red government coalition in Hesse will not live up to its self-imposed goal of reducing bureaucracy. According to the draft coalition agreement, two new ministries are planned, which will create new bureaucracy, said Green parliamentary group leader Mathias Wagner in Wiesbaden on Friday. After the Digital Minister had previously been more or less a department of the State Chancellery, there would be an independent ministry in future - with all the necessary administrative structures.
Wagner repeated his criticism of the planned departmental structure, according to which there is to be a CDU-led "Ministry for Family, Senior Citizens, Sport, Health and Care" in addition to an SPD-led "Ministry for Labor, Integration, Youth and Social Affairs". This means there will be two social ministries in future, said Wagner. "One for the blacks and one for the reds."
The Green parliamentary group leader also criticized the fact that the education chapter of the coalition agreement does not contain any concrete statements, for example on the number of new teaching positions or the expansion of school social work. However, there is a very specific description of a future recorder project in which primary school pupils will receive a recorder and teachers will receive suitable teaching materials. "There are certainly better measures to enable all children to enjoy making music and learning an instrument," said Wagner.
