Parties - Green Miriam Putz resigns from the city council
Miriam Putz, the current Green MP for the Stellingen-Eimsbüttel-West constituency, is resigning from her seat in the Hamburg parliament. Putz's resignation is for personal reasons, the Green parliamentary group announced on Monday. Putz has been spokesperson for the economy, tourism, airport and port since 2020.
"As Greens, we will particularly miss her commitment to a climate-neutral transformation of the port, the economic hub of our Hanseatic city," said Green Party Chair Jennifer Jasberg.
Charlotte Stoffel from Hamburg-Altona will take over as her successor from the next meeting on January 17, 2024. At the earliest then, a decision will also be made on new allocations of the specialist spokesperson titles.
