Minister Kretschmann once again insisted on a liability insurance plan for natural disasters. "There's no way out," he said. But Federal Justice Minister Marco Buschmann (FDP) still refuses to make it happen. Meanwhile, Environment Minister Thekla Walker (Greens) urged frequent inspections of current defense systems. "We need to keep an eye on things," she stated. It's unfortunate that two lives were lost in Baden-Württemberg.
