Gothaer: allegedly, Friday, deemed unfortunate, results in less harm compared to other days
In the year 2023, the most frequent reported incidents of damage often occurred on Thursdays, with an average of 424 occurrences daily. However, by the midpoint of 2024, this pattern barely altered.
Surprisingly, Mondays have taken the top spot. According to Meggie Oppermann from Gothaer, "Mondays in 2024 have seen roughly 200 more reported instances of damage on average compared to Fridays."
She advises being cautious at the start of the week. The upcoming Friday the 13th this year will fall in December.
Given the new trend, Mondays have become more likely to see a higher number of reported incidents of damage. Moreover, the upcoming Friday the 13th in December might not be as risky as it's often perceived, as its occurrence on a less damaging day of the week could potentially make it less susceptible to incidents.
