On the first day of the Potsdam Castle Night, thousands of people visited Park Sanssouci despite initial rain. "It was a good first evening," said a spokesperson for the event. The falconry show at the Tyrolean Hill and the spooky stories read by actress Katharina Thalbach, her daughter, and granddaughter were the main attractions.
The 25th edition of the Potsdam Castle Night will once again light up Park Sanssouci on Saturday with colorful lights. Throughout the park, visitors can enjoy music, readings, variety shows, theater, dance, guided tours, and light and sound installations. The festival promises something for the whole family, with free entry for children up to 13 years old.
