Promoted to the second division, VfL Osnabrück has recruited goalkeeper David Richter from potential future league foes 1860 Munich. The acquisition was confirmed by both teams on Thursday. Neither organization disclosed information on the terms of the agreement. Richter, a 25-year-old from Berlin, has been part of the Munich team since July 2023. VfL's former goalkeeper, Philipp Kühn, was dismissed at the end of the preceding season.
