German football league - Goalkeeper Huth transfers from Paderborn to SC Freiburg.
A Bundesliga team named SC Freiburg has brought on goalkeeper Jannik Huth from a lower-tier team called SC Paderborn. At age 30, Huth will join Noah Atubolu and Florian Müller as their duo in the goalkeeping department for the Breisgau team. Huth has played with Paderborn for the past five years. He will be stepping in for Benjamin Uphoff, whose contract with the team was not renewed.
Freiburg's sports director Klemens Hartenbach addressed the news in a press statement, "It's not an easy task to balance sporting skill with knowing you may not play much. That's why we're thrilled to have found a goalie in Jannik who embraces this role."
