Gladbach without veteran Jantschke for the time being

Bundesliga soccer team Borussia Mönchengladbach will have to do without veteran Tony Jantschke for some time. The 33-year-old defensive player suffered a torn fascia in his thigh during training and will not be able to train for the time being. Borussia made the announcement on Thursday.

Fan favorite Jantschke came to the Lower Rhine as a youth player 17 years ago and has played for the club ever since. His contract expires in the summer. So far this season, he has only played 18 minutes in two games.

Borussia Mönchengladbach's Bundesliga campaign will continue without the services of Tony Jantschke due to his thigh injury. Despite being a key figure at the club for over a decade, Jantschke's absence in the Bundesliga soccer matches is imminent.
